Pink Moon Milk a wellness innovation known for inducing restful sleep. It may be popular now, but it is inspired by ancient Ayurvedic belief in the power of warm, infused milk to help with rest. Many people are partial to a cup of milk before bed, but this takes the concept to a new dimension!
Our recipe for Pink Moon Milk is a comforting blend of warm milk (either cow’s milk or nut milk) infused with specially chosen herbs and spices. Milk contains the sleep-inducing amino acid tryptophan, as well as melatonin and magnesium. These are all essential for helping our nervous system to relax and prepare ourselves for sleep.
A crucial ingredient in our Pink Moon Milk is Ashwagandha, also known as Indian ginseng. It is an adaptogen: one of a group of herbs that reduce stress. Used for centuries for holistic healing in Ayurvedic medicine, it is a natural anti-inflammatory.
